Two Old Women

The story depict images of landscape and way of life that is merciless yet justifiably reasonable and absolutely beautiful. Two old women abandoned by their tribe during a brutal winter famine; these women have been known to complain more than contribute, they now must either survive on their own or die trying. The story goes around betrayal, friendship, community and forgiveness . It exemplifies humanity in survival mode and strong determination. The book shared about an Athabaskan wisdom that was passed from one generation to the next; this somewhat gives people an idea about enriched Athabaskan culture.
